Development
We've created access to thousands of excellent new rural homes across the Midlands.
Our success is based on a unique mix of deep local knowledge, a wide range of in-house skills, and direct connections with local authorities and communities who trust us to:
- handle site identification
- conduct housing needs surveys
- present facts and evidence to local authorities and parish councils
- secure funding
- lead the planning application process
- deliver community consultation
- liaise with social housing providers
We've developed long-standing partnerships with local authority housing and planning departments, developers, contractors, parish councils, voluntary agencies and other housing associations. And we always maintain clear communication between all stakeholders at every stage of a development. That way, we can be certain that everybody's needs are met.
What do our customers say?
Did you know?
We work with housing providers who need to fulfil rural programme commitments by either providing a pipeline of advanced schemes or working alongside them for the duration of a project.
Midlands Rural Housing offers communities guidance on finance, governance, and the law through membership of the National Community Land Trust Network, the non-profit group of community-based organisations that develops affordable homes owned and controlled by the community.
