Sherlock support National Cupcake Day
Colleagues at Midlands Rural Housing enjoyed plenty of treats to support a great cause.
More than £70 was raised for Alzheimer’s Society when colleagues supported national Cupcake Day. Now in its fourth year, Cupcake Day has, so far, raised £2.7 million to fund pioneering research, support services and care for people with dementia.
In the average time it takes to bake a batch of cakes, six people in the UK will develop dementia, which is now the UK’s biggest killer.
Colleagues brought in home-baked cakes to sell and our mascot, Sherlock Homes, couldn’t resist tucking in too!
A big thank you goes to everyone who baked cakes and to all those who donated.
